This plant has “Brutknospen,” reproductive bud3, in the upper leaf axils, such as are described by Correns, in his Verm. d. Laubm., p. 119, on Philonotis adpressa, etc. They become detached with the greatest ease, and are rarely found in place. They measure about one-half millimeter, and have a few nearly ecostate leaves.
