Habitat: Mixed mesic hardwood forest, with scattered hemlock along creek.; associated with Thuidium, Bartramia, Callicladium, Polytrichum, Dicranella, Dicranum, Grimmia; Rock Type = sandstone
Substrate: on vertical sandstone above creek, in seepy area.
